
The sun hung high over the ancient fort, its weathered stone walls whispering tales of forgotten battles as the group wandered the dusty paths. Rajveer, ever the attentive companion, spotted a vibrant red hibiscus blooming defiantly amid the cracks. With a quick pluck, he tucked it behind Veda's ear, his fingers lingering just a second too long on her soft cheek. 'For my jaan,' he murmured low, eyes darkening with that familiar hunger. Veda smiled coyly, her saree swishing as she pressed closer, but the day was young, and teasing was her game.
